Shoes & Martini's

This cake was a lot of fun!  I made it for a surprise "Sex in The City" themed bridal party.  It was the first time I made a high-heeled shoe - and it was a painful experience!  I have figured out how to streamline the process since, but it was not my best memory ;P, and to top it off, I forgot to take out the cardboard out that I used for support, before I took the picture!  Each little pearl was washed in a vodka-food glitter mix so it had a pearly glow.  Vodka is used instead of water because it evaporates as it dries, and doesn't make the fondant sticky.  I tried to make a fondant martini glass, but that was a failure, so I used disposable plastic one filled with raspberry jello for the cocktail effect.
